Le Meridien Etoile Paris- A perfect weekend away

For my anniversary, my husband and I wanted to spend a weekend away, not far from home.   So, we chose Paris and along came Le Meridien Etoile.  We travelled by Eurostar from St Pancras to Gare du Nord, then the metro from Gare du Nord to Port Maillot.  The journey was a very comfortable on Eurostar and very straight forward to the hotel.

The hotel is situated approx 30 mins by metro from Gare du Nord (door to door).  It was the perfect choice, upon hotel check-in we were very lucky to be upgraded to an executive room.  The room is newly refurbished to very high level, very modern with flat plasma, beautiful lights and nice bathroom fittings.
