Another attraction you should check out while on Chamonix holidays is the Chamonix Mont Blanc. Climbers from all over the world head to Mont Blanc each year to tackle its summit. It’s not the most challenging mountain to climb, but you will need to be fit and healthy to get to the top.

This beautiful town has plenty of top restaurants serving delicious food. There are great shopping opportunities too. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday then this is one place to stop off. You can relax and enjoy the scenery or if you’d prefer a more active holiday you could enjoy walking up the mountain.

The Horace Benedict de Saussure statue is the first one to check out. The statue is of the initiator of the first ascent of Mont Blanc.

There’s also the statue of Michel-Gabriel Paccard who was one of two people who successfully climbed Mont Blanc in 1786.
