The country’s central bank is also based here. Processing fees are a standard occurrence in any bank setting. To discern the nuances of these fees, a card machine comparison becomes an essential resource for understanding and distinguishing the variations. A good number of tourists choose Abu Dhabi holidays to spend their holidays. This island seated on the Persian Gulf is quite modern, hosting its fare share of skyscrapers and ultra-modern infrastructure.

However, it is also blessed with a number of geological features mountains and caves. Despite having hot weather throughout the year, the place is quite green, having, on top of its parks, a number of artificial forests and agricultural plantations. On top of that there are beaches on which visitors can enjoy the warm weather.

Abu Dhabi Holidays – Sightseeing and activities

One of the most striking buildings in Abu Dhabi’s skyline is the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Though non-Muslim visitors are restricted to visiting at certain times of the day, if you get the chance to tour this massive building, do it. It’s beautiful from the outside to the inside.

Abu Dhabi is dotted with wonderful green spaces in the form of well-kept public parks. These include Khalifa Park which boasts its own gardens, play parks, aquarium and museum. In the Al Safa Park visitors can not only relax, they can indulge in their favourite sport as there are facilities there for tennis, soccer, volleyball and other sports. All in all there are 2,000 such parks all over the island. Alongside the parks are man-made islands, some of which are still incomplete.

What is sure to surprise visitors is the idea that in an arid area they can find such features as tranquil lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Finding them may not be easy but they are there. People on holiday to Abu Dhabi can enjoy the city’s beauty from above by taking a helicopter tour.

If you’re an adrenaline junkie who is into cars you will love the Desert Safari or Dune Bashing as it’s also called.

It essentially entails being driven through the sand dunes as you take in wonderful desert scenery (especially the sunsets). If you have the stomach for it, you can hire the vehicle and drive yourself through the treacherous terrain. Other forms of activity exist in the form of swimming (nigh irresistible given the temperatures), aerobics and dancing.

Events

Lovers of poetry will have the chance to partake of Abu Dhabi’s unique brand of this art form which first came into being in the 8th century. Like the neighbouring Dubai, Abu Dhabi has opened its doors to international sports events and since 2009 the Yas Marina Circuit has hosted a leg of the Formula One circuit between November and December.

The city’s waterfront has a number of times hosted the amazing Red Bull Air Race World Championships. This competition features daring pilots flying through an obstacle course just above the water surface. There are also indigenous sporting events such as the camel races which are held in winter.

Our Abu Dhabi Holidays will defiantly etch themselves on your memory.
